Shiyard transporter (self-propelled heavy duty hydraulic trailer (transporter)) is the main equipment for transporting the ship section, ship engine and other big components in shipyard, provides exceptional maneuverability in tight spaces by utilizing advanced steering technology, carries out very sensitive and precise driving maneuvers by the huge platform in order to accurately position hull blocks in intended assembly areas. 

Features

Power system consists of DA variable displacement pump, hydraulic motor, control valve, sensor and electric control component.

The steering systme is independent steering, driven by cylinder, controlled by computer, which can actualize the normal, ciucular steering, and running at a certain angle, etc.

Independent hydraulic suspension (pendulum), moving sideways like a crab, increase transporter’s maneuverability. 

Angular and speed sensor ensure precise moving and elevating.

Electronic and hydraulic multi-directional steering.

Two or more shipyard transporters walk in step(synchronization).

Hydraulic suspensions realize three or four support points and move up and down smoothly.

Steering and combination

The below design are for 2 to 10 axle line Shipyard Transporter: every axle line consists of two sets of suspension and axles, if adopt 32tons axle and suspension, then the capacity of each axle line is 64tons; if adopt 16tons suspension and axle, then the capacity of each axle line is 32ton. 2 to 10 axle lines can transport cargo from 50tons to 500tons. For more capacity, more quantity of axle line, more powerful engine and pump can do the job.
